What is equestrian vaulting?

Equestrian vaulting is a sport that combines gymnastics and horseback riding. Vaulters perform acrobatic movements on the back of a moving horse.Although nobody knows the exact origin, equestrian vaulting has been around in some form since the Roman times! It is an internationally recognized sport by the FEI, USEF and EVUSA.

What are the basic skills of equestrian vaulting?

The basic skills of equestrian vaulting include mounting and dismounting the horse safely, maintaining balance on the horse, and performing routines to music on the horse at the walk, trot or canter.

What age can children start equestrian vaulting?

Children can start vaulting with us as young as 5 years old. We require a spotter for any vaulter 6 and under.
